About Me
What Led Me Here
I started seeing patients privately because I wanted to treat you the way you deserve to be treated. That means no insurance requirements deciding what kind of care you get, no pressure to come in more often than you actually need, and one-on-one time that’s fully focused on you. My goal is to really listen so we can build a plan that makes sense and helps you move forward with confidence. This approach lets you have as much or as little independence as you want, whatever works best for your goals.
My Background and Approach
I studied exercise biology at UC Davis and earned my doctorate in physical therapy from USC in 2019. After graduation, I completed an orthopedic residency and became a board-certified orthopedic specialist. A year later, I completed a sports fellowship through Kaiser in West LA, which focused on manual therapy and treating active individuals across the lifespan.
Along the way, I’ve stayed up to date on best practices through continuing education in areas like pain science, movement analysis, and return-to-sport testing. To further improve patient results, I became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist so I could better support clients looking to build strength or improve performance. I’ve been practicing in the Santa Monica area since 2019 and really enjoy working with people who want to feel stronger, move better, and stay active.
I start every treatment plan with a real conversation. We take time to dig into your goals, concerns, and any past experiences that may have left you feeling stuck. Talking through fears or beliefs that may be holding you back can help create space for progress.
My treatment style emphasizes active recovery. That means we’ll spend more time building strength, mobility, and confidence through movement, and less time relying on passive techniques. Hands-on work is used when helpful, but always in service of getting you back to doing more on your own. This focus on active care helps promote independence and gives you tools to manage your pain beyond our sessions.
I also make sure the care I provide is evidence-based and up to date. That includes using objective testing to track progress throughout your plan, whether it’s range of motion, strength, or anything else that matters to your goals.
Outside the Clinic
I live in Culver City with my fiancée and our dog, plus more than 50 houseplants that I’ve slowly turned into a living room jungle. On weekends, we’re usually weightlifting, cooking new recipes, or tending to our freshwater aquarium. I also love board games and always look forward to game nights with friends and family.
